Dishub Has 28 New Towing Trucks to Improve Performance

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has 28 new towing trucks to strengthen law enforcement against parking violations. Thay means, in total, they already have 125 units.

We continue to pay attention to improving handling of parking violations

Jakarta Dishub Deputy Head, Syarifudin said the Jakarta Provincial Government was committed to creating public spaces that are more orderly and safe.

He assessed illegal parking is a big problem and continues to increase as people's economic activity increases in Greater Jakarta. Thus, it causes traffic jams during rush hour

"That's why, we continue to pay attention to improving handling of parking violations by increasing the tow fleet," he expressed, Monday (1/15).

Moreover, parking violations not only disrupt the smooth flow of traffic but have the potential to cause inconvenience and even accidents.

He hoped that the additional fleet supported by professional and humane personnel in the field could achieve the common goal of making Jakarta a better city in terms of mobility and traffic safety.

"As well as being a concrete step in eradicating parking violations in Jakarta," he closed.
